The vampire-slaying mulitplayer spin-off of Legacy of Kain, Nosgoth, has been cancelled by publisher Square Enix after failing to gain a ‘sustainable’ audience.

A town situated near the Great Southern Lake, on the opposite side from Ziegsturhl. It lies directly north of Meridian. Stahlberg: Explored in Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain. A city on the edge of the Land of the Nemesis, and home to the most prominent libraries and universities in Nosgoth.

Will they ever make a new Legacy of Kain?
While the last game in the series, Legacy of Kain: Defiance, ended the franchise on a conclusive note, a new game starting a new story in Kain’s rich universe would definitely be welcome. As of the time of writing, no announcements have been made about plans for a sequel.
